Wyckoff mom Tina Fulco is the author of a new children's book Princesses Like Mud Too.
A Book Born from Real Life
The book is inspired by her daughter Alennia, a third grade student at Coolidge Elementary School.
Princesses Like Mud Too, introduces us to Lenni, a spirited girl who embodies the joy of living authentically. The story celebrates individuality and the fun of being true to oneself. Lenni, short for Alennia, is a whirlwind of creativity, delighting in dress-up, song-making, and, most importantly, playing in the mud.
Lenni shines brightly as she navigates her world, proving that it’s perfectly okay to love both the “girly” things and the thrill of getting dirty
"I always try to do whatever my big brothers do and they would say that I shouldn't get dirty or that I'm a princess but I would always prove them wrong by doing whatever they did. Sometimes I would do it better," laughs Alennia.

Tina and Alennia will be selling their book at the Ridgewood Fall Craft & Art Street Fair on September 20.
The book is available locally at Tons for Toys as well as on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. The book is available for circulation at the Wyckoff Free Public Library.
